Celebrating 75 years

 Alberto’s was founded in 1945 by Albert “Bat” Cuddemi. Nicknamed “Bats,” Alberto’s has always been a local favorite for authentic homestyle Italian and American dishes. A family owned and operated business, Alberto's is the only restaurant that can say it offers the "best food by a dam site." Located off Route 202 along the Contoocook River, we sit across from the river's dam and just upstream from the Monadnock Papers Mills, a specialty paper mill that just turned 200 years old. 

Current Alberto's owner and operator, Joe Cuddemi, has been welcoming guests since 1983. 


Come sit down with your family and enjoy a juicy steak, dig into some fresh New England Seafood, or try a classic chicken parmigiana or fettuccine alfredo. A must try is our homemade thin crust pizza, warm garlic bread and our delicious antipasto’s.  We can accommodate over 150 people in two dining rooms, the lounge, bar and patio. Easily accessed from all Southern NH cities, we are within 45 minutes of Keene, Concord, Manchester and Nashua, and only 1.5 hours from Boston, MA.

 When seasons change, Alberto’s has direct access for snowmobile travelers to stop in and get a hot meal.


Our Chef and Staff

Our restaurant has served the community for generations and has had many caring and dedicated employees. Our chef  of over 30 years, Denise Boilard, has provided decades of mouthwatering meals to area residents, and members of our wait staff have been with us just as long. We hope you feel right at home.
