About our restaurant

 Alberto’s was founded in 1945 by Albert “Bat” Cuddemi. Nicknamed “Bats,” Alberto’s has always been a local favorite for authentic homestyle Italian and American dishes. A family owned and operated business, Alberto's is the only restaurant that can say it offers the "best food by a dam site." Located off Route 202 along the Contoocook River, we sit across from the river's dam and just upstream from the Monadnock Papers Mills, a specialty paper mill that just turned 200 years old.

The restaurant was taken over in 1983 by Bat's son, Joseph Cuddemi, who ran the business until his recent passing in 2021. Current operations have been handed down another generation to Joe's daughter, Jordan Cuddemi, who plans to continue welcoming guests for many more years to come.

Come sit down with your family and enjoy a juicy steak, dig into some fresh New England Seafood, or try a classic chicken parmigiana or fettuccine alfredo. A must try is our homemade thin crust pizza, warm garlic bread and our delicious antipasto’s.  We can accommodate over 150 people in two dining rooms, the lounge, bar and patio. Easily accessed from all Southern NH cities, we are within 45 minutes of Keene, Concord, Manchester and Nashua, and only 1.5 hours from Boston, MA.

 When seasons change, Alberto’s has direct access for snowmobile travelers to stop in and get a hot meal.
